Hunting association [ Association ]

It was founded in 1961 and area of hunting ground was 1560 hectares after dividing of the largest hunting ground Odersko which had an area over 6 000 hectares. Chairman of the Hunting association was elected Mr. Vítek František and housekeeper Mr. Kadlubica Jan. Borders of the hunting ground were borders of the villages from the north of the cadaster - Kaménka, Heřmanice, Heřmánky, Jakubčovice nad/O, Nová Ves, Loučky and Vítovka.

Still before foundation of the Hunting association Jakubčovice entered into inseparable frienship with the Hunting association Tovačov in 1956 which survived up to this day. Founders were for Hunting association Tovačov Mr. Přehnal Antonín and Doležel Josef, for Hunting association Jakubčovice n/O
Mr. Kurovec Milan, Vítek František, Pešl Alois.

In 1967a change in leadership of hobby organization Hunting association happened, chairman was Mr. Biskup Adolf
and hunting housekeeper was elected Mr. Loučka František, a change occured in 1969 when Mr. Loučka was replaced by
Mr. Šustek Josef until 1972.

To localities of existing hunting ground was in that time carried and placed in aclimatization parks for a period of one year "Fallow deers". Among founders of "Fallow-deer regions" there were Hunting association Jakubčovice - released 6 pieces of fallow deers, Kaménka - released 8 pieces of fallow deers and neighbouring Hunting association Odry I. - released 6 pieces of fallow deers.

In 1973 a change of grade of hunters' housekeeper occurred who became Mr. Máša Miroslav, he was replaced in 1975 by Mr. Rubáč Martin who has performed this funktion up to this day.

In 1980 integration of hunting grounds arose and on the basis of resolution of the District national committee (ONV), branch VLHZ, an area of hunting ground of 1292 hectares was granted to us. The best part of the hunting ground Kaménka decreased and a part of hunting ground Vlkov region was granted. After sixteen year Mr. Biskup Adolf was replaced in the function of chairman of the Hunting association
by Mr. Vašut Jan, he discharged this function only for a short time until 1986 - then he demited.

Chairman was replaced by Mr. Švancer Josef and he has discharged this function up to this day. In 1993 another unpopular change of borders of the hunting ground happened, a part of hunting ground was taken away which the Hunting association got as a change for Kaménka - e.g. Vlkov region. Area of present-day hunting ground is 1043 hectares.

A membership consists of 16 members.

A hunting activity did not consist not only in protection of landscape and game, its member have ever been active
and participated in works not only in agriculture, forestry but also in works for the village. They contributed to a great extent to construction of shops in Jakubčovice n/O., Heřmánky, Heřmanice and Loučky. They participated even in construction of sports facility in Jakubčovice, construction of foot bridge over the river Odra to the cottage region. The Hunting association has built its own shooting range where they hold annuylly shooting competitions.

In 2000 the Hunting association organized under the sponsorship of the village mayor the I. year of shooting competition on battery. 42 shooters participated, not only from the district Nový Jičín. The same number participated in the shooting competition "Of the prize of Nový Jičín", held by OMS in Nový Jičín.

To the hunting belong even competitions of hunting dogs, already in April took place "Spring collection of hunting dogs ".

In July the Moravskoslezský klub Jagdterierů KLZ (Cact) (Moravia-Silesian club ofJagdteriers KLZ) organizes - cottage in Vlkov region on 14th July
KBZ (Cact) - cottage in Vlkov region on 15th July
BZ - of small breeds - cottage in Vlkov region on 25th August
LZ - of small breeds - cottage in Vlkov region on 26th August

From 1961 to 2000 it was shot:
buck - 14 pieces
roe-deer - 1 041 pieces
hare - 2 096 pieces
fallow-deer - 109 pieces
wild board - 192 pieces
fox - 325 pieces
