Characterization: Fir-beech virgin forest.
It appertains to edge part of Odry's Highlands (Oderská vrchovina) in elevation above sea-level of about 450 m not far from the village Jakubčovice nad Odrou. This preserve poses a forest complex of naturally preserved growth typical
of foothills of Odry's Hills (Oderské vrchy) and is made up mainly by beech, elmtree, sycamore, linden and cherry-tree. The age of this growth is 170 years. In former times black stork and together an occurance of great amount of in hollows nesting animals was confirmed here. The growth is registered as genetic resources' area of European beech.
