The International Folklore Festival of Brno [ Folklore festival FoS CZ ]

Year 2007 has already been the 18th year of the festival of folk music, singing and dancing and folk craft in Brno.
The tradition of the festival was started in October 1989 by Jan Miroslav Krist and immediately in 1990 its first year was held. Currently The International Folklore Festival Brno belongs to the family of festivals bearing the logo of CIOFF and among foreign ensembles it is becoming more and more attractive for its composition and organization.

On Brno Festival folklore is presented in its raw as well as stylised form. The festival programme consists of adult and children ensembles, workshops and music programmes.

In 2007 the organizers have prepared the following programme:
