Balancing dam Kamýk [ Vodní plocha ]
It is in operation since 1963, the dam is 94 m long and 27,5 m high, equipped with functional lock chamber of classical construction.
It raised the Vltava water level by 14 m.
The water power plant situated on the left riverside has 4 Kaplan turbines. The dam serves just the needs of energetics and industry.
